Dr.-Ing. Omid Taghizadeh

Dr.-Ing. Omid Taghizadeh received the M.Sc. degree from Technische Universit├Ąt Ilmenau, Ilmenau, Germany in 2013 (mit Auszeichnung) and PhD from RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany in 2018 (summa cum laude). Previously, he was a student research assistant at the Communications Research Laboratory, TU Ilmenau (10.2011-8.2013) and a research associate at the Chair for Theoretical Information Technology, RWTH Aachen University (9.2013 - 8.2019).

Currently, Ihe is a research associate at the Network Information Theory Group, Technische Universit├Ąt Berlin, and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI), Berlin, Germany.  My research Interests include:

  • Performance evaluation and optimization of 5G communication systems
  • Realization and applications of full-duplex (FD) wireless radios
  • Resource allocation and interference management in wireless networks
  • Information transfer and fusion in wireless sensor networks
  • Machine learning and data analytics with applications to communication systems
